Happy with snarky comments? Or want to learn more? Your choice. You'll deserve what you vote for.
One of the most interesting observations I’ve made this
election cycle is how certain people I know personally are supporting
politicians whose very plans will cost these people thousands in additional
outlays for Medicare and Social Security.
For instance, if Romney and Ryan implement their “vouchers
to Medicare” plan, people under 55 will pay as much as $11,000 more a year when
they get to retirement, to have the same coverage that Medicare currently
provides.
I can only surmise that the explanation is (1) ignorance of
the actual causes of the economic situation and (2) pinning false hopes on Republican
economic policies.
If you’re one of those who stand to suffer and are satisfied
making snarky, misinformed, supposedly clever remarks and that’s as deep as you
want to go, don’t read the subject article.
Or if your racial prejudices cannot allow you a clear vision of reality
don’t read this article. But if you want
to understand the basis of our economic woes, read it by clicking here.
